Booking Terms and Conditions - Sewing Classes/Workshops


Your place on any of our Classes/Workshops is only secured once you have paid in full. Full payment must be made no later than 7 days before the start date of your Class/Workshop.

Please make sure you check the dates and times of the Class/Workshop prior to booking.


If for any reason you find yourself unable to attend your class, you may obtain a full refund or transfer to a different date of your choice, subject to availability. Should you wish to cancel your class, you must notify us no less than 7 days before the class start date to obtain a full refund or class/name transfer.

 If cancellation is made within 7 days of your workshop/sewing class, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund, however you can rebook onto a future available workshop date, space permitted and at our discretion.


It is very unlikely that we would cancel a class/workshop but all of our workshops or classes require a minimum number of students to allow them to run. If we do not have the numbers required and we have to cancel the class we will let you know as soon as possible and will offer a full refund or a transfer to another class. If Kayes Textiles do have to cancel a class/workshop we will not accept liability for any other costs incurred by the student other than the course/workshop fee. 


Customers will be advised on requirements for the course/workshop they are attending. Sewing machines are available to use and you are more than welcome to bring your own as long as the machine has been PAT tested within the last 2 years - use of any machine is at your own risk.


Kayes Textiles takes no responsibility for any injuries you might suffer during any class/course or workshop either due to using your own tools/equipment, such as sewing machines, cutters, scissors, needles and irons.
